Contagion: Flatline is a multiplayer zombie game developed by Monochrome Inc. (Formerly Monochrome LLC) created using
MonoEngine.
About
Contagion: Flatline is a Free-To-Play version of the Flatline gamemode from Contagion and the first title using the new upgraded MonoEngine. This version of Flatline is more fleshed out and each survivor have their own pros and cons, such as the character Engineer Mike being able to deploy turrets and even ammo boxes.
A level system was also introduced, so you now need to unlock weapons, and certain weapons now deal more damage depending on the character and class. Microtransactions has also been introduced, which is only for weapon and character skins/replacements, these can be turned off on your own Peer-2-Peer games, or only allow weapon skins.
Modding has also been expanded upon, by finally replacing the audio system to Steam Audio and updating Template:Angelscript.
