This page is in need of information.
Can you help out? Click here to add more.
Note:We need to include everything from the lore's timeline here. And that includes ZPS & Contagion.
ZP1 does not really have lore, since it was just a prototype, but with the Steam Release, basically the remake, could be given proper lore, as an "what if" scenario that ties with ZPS.
We need to talk more about this, or keep ZP1 as non-cannon.

Zombie Panic! Source

Note:The lore of ZPS is different from Contagion as Callahan does not exist here, and no expedition ever went to the artic regions. The virus in ZPS is also different, as there is a Carrier while Contagion does not.
We need to specify the reasons why each timeline is different.
If ZP1 lore is added under here, we need to branch off with an what if scenario situation.

Patient Zero

Note:Zombie Panic! Lore starts here

Contagion

Note:We need more info here, and also date of births of our characters etc.
This only contains a rough draft from the 2 Campaigns in Contagion.

Distant Past

A few million years ago

Ancient Civilization, pangea. More info needs to be added, the key to the reason of the mutations of the virus.

1920's

The foundation of Biotec industries.

1990's

Dr.Callahan begins his wicked experiments to "better" humanity.

1998

Dr.Callahan finds something in the artic region.

2000's

Dr.Callahan and his backers begins to finalizes the prototype virus.

2004: 10th of July

Confirm:Was it really in July? This may be wrong, but we need to double check.

Biotec plants an experimental bomb on a train heading towards the centre of Barlowe. Military gets sent in mere hours after the bomb goes off, thanks to a whistle blower from Flowerfield Mansion.

2004: 11th of July

The whistle blower dies trying to escape with a few samples from a few gunshot wounds, causing some to crack and fall into the sewage system, the entire mansion is now in full lockdown while Callahan is trying to wipe away any involvements with the experiments.
