• Eugene was added to Zombie Panic! Source in version 1.0, the original release of the mod.
• Eugene received updates in versions 1.4, 2.0, 2.4, 3.0 and 3.1.

Trivia

• Eugene was the first survivor added to Zombie Panic! Source, and the only playable survivor in early development builds of the game.
• Eugene's undershirt has the letters BPPD printed on it. This may be referencing the Buena Park Police Department from Eugene's original character bio.
• According to the Zombie Panic: Source official comic, Eugene and Marcus worked together as partners.
• Eugene and the Carrier were both voiced by Eric Grant.
• Eugene is the default player model since the game's release.
• Eugene Grant also appears in Contagion, the spiritual successor to Zombie Panic! Source.
• Eugene's model was created by Eka
• Eugene used to be blonde but changed to brown in newer versions.
